ETS Graduation 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic and the related restrictions that the government has placed on large gatherings, restaurants, and worship services has made it necessary for ETS to impose the following changes to this year’s graduation / school opening exercises:
Due to social distancing regulations, ETS must restrict the number of attendees for the graduation ceremony. To facilitate the flow of guests and contact-tracing regulations, we require that all attendees register in advance via the seminary’s website (see registration tab above).
Each graduate can bring two guests (presumably family).
Current students, faculty and staff may not invite any guests to the service – due to space limitations.
All seating will be preassigned by the seminary, and all participants will be shown to their corresponding seat upon arrival.
Please observe all regulations regarding masks until you are seated. Masks are to be worn in the hallways and when entering/exiting the chapel.
Please observe the separate entrance and exits for the chapel and the building.
After the graduation service, we ask all visitors to quickly leave the chapel. All conversations after the service should be held outdoors.
There will be no “coffee and cake” after the graduation service, nor will the cafeteria be available to the public during the graduation weekend.
By registering you agree to observe these guidelines.
