Research and Writing
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic skills of writing a research paper. Fundamentals of library research, especially focusing on biblical, theological, and pastoral research will be emphasized. The students will be introduced to the ETS Style Manual, which will be a guide for writing their papers at ETS, and for their future ministry.

Dorina was born and raised in Romania, in the northeastern part of
Transylvania, a beautiful region with a rich cultural heritage. She studied at
ETS from 2007 to 2010 – which she describes as a time of spiritual growth and
personal development, but also of learning to develop healthy friendships and
experience the beauty of Christian fellowship. Three years after graduating,
she returned to ETS in 2014 to enroll in the master’s program in Marriage and
Family Studies and to join the ETS staff, taking over the duties as librarian.
She also served as dormitory supervisor from 2016 to 2018. In the fall of 2018,
she began teaching Library Research and the following semester co-taught Intro
to Senior Paper. She loves to teach and inspire students to reach their fullest
potential. Her passions include reading, hiking in the Black Forest, sports and
home decor. She has been happily married since 2017 and lives with her husband,
Gabriel, in Kniebis.
